Advanced Marksmanship Training

To be a U.S. Army Advanced Marksman, you need to first qualify as EXPERT at the BRM range (36 or more). Once you have qualified as expert, you can attend the Advanced Marksmanship School, and train using the M24 SWS, and M82A1 SAMR. The training course emphasizes accurate shooting, and begins with weapons familiarization for both of the weapons. The test involves using “one shot” to hit a target. Only one shot is given since the motto is: “one shot, one kill”. Below are screenshots of the two training missions.
