Create A BDM Breachable Wall Tutorial

1 Open M_AA2_Architectural static mesh package.
2 Then change dropdown menu to walls.
3 Select the top mesh that is names: Arch2_walls_concwall1a.
4 Then in top viewport right click and click add decomesh to add the wall static mesh to the map.
5 Then go into decomesh properties and and go to DamageType and set bCheckDamageType = True
6 Click the plus next to DamageTypes and click Add and set it to Class’AGP_Gameplay.BDMRocketDemolitionDamage’
7 Then set DisplayDamageType to Class’AGP_Gameplay.BDMRocketDemolitionDamage
8 Then go to DecoMesh Section and set bDamageable to True, and bDisplayTargetingInfo all to False.
9 Then open the static mesh browser and select the mesh named Arch2_walls_concwall-broken1a.
10 Keep it selected and go back to the decomesh properties and click DamagedMesh under the DecoMesh section and click use.
11 It will set the broken wall mesh as the broken one.
12 Then go to the Events Section and set the Tag as DecoMesh if not already.
13 Then go to LinkDamage and set DamagePoints to 20, and DamageTag towalls
14 Build All and Playtest
