The Deployment Menu is one of two methods of joining an online server. It is designed to enable players to distinguish the varying maps by the four Mission Types portrayed in Americas's Army, those being:

• Infantry Missions
• Airborne Missions
• Ranger Missions
• Special Forces Missions

By clicking either on one of the tabs at the top of the menu, or the Badges within the main screen, a player will be delivered to the associated Mission List.

The 3 Mission Selection Screens serve to give players a snap shot of the mission environment to aid in picking the correct map should the map name not be remembered. By clicking on a Mission Image the player can view a detailed overview of the Mission Objectives and any specific instructions relating to the Mission. Should the player wish to join a server set to this mission type they need merely click the "Deploy" button and they will be taken to a configured AA Browser window to select the specific server they wish to join.
