Navigation is essential in real life, as it is in America’s Army. To get from point A to point B, requires some basic essentials, which one must learn, and be proficient in.
→ New for Version 2.7 of America's Army is the Situational Awareness Indicator - more commonly known as the SAI.
The SAI plays a major part in aiding a player to interact successfully with their surroundings and team mates. It combines the function of a compass and mini-map allowing the player to keep track of their position within the map and keep a bearing of where their objectives are.
Objectives and teammates are represented by easily identifiable icons on the SAI which can be zoomed and made transparent for ease of use. Completed and Available Objectives can be distinguished by the color in which their icon apears in the SAI, teammate status can also be seen in the same way.
