Unable to install the game

Make sure you have administrator’s rights when installing the game.
Verify your computer meets the requirements of the game. For example if your computer runs out of disk space during the installation this would cause an error during the installation.
If you meet the above requirements follow these steps to ensure a trouble free install of America's Army
- 1) Uninstall America's Army v2.6 from Control Panel Add/Remove Programs
- 2) Go into Program Files Delete America's Army Folder (dont' forget this step)
- 3) Go to Start...Run...Type:Notepad <hitenter>
- 4) Copy the Code below to Notepads text area
- Code:
- Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
- [-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\US Army]
- 5) Choose File and Save AS
- 6) Name it RemoveAA.reg (do not leave off the .reg extenstion)
- 7) Save the file to your desktop or somewhere easy to find
- 8) Right Click on the file RemoveAA.reg and Choose Merge
- 9) Choose Yes to add to registry
- 10) Choose OK to Confirm
- 11) Reboot PC
- 12) Install v2.7 full install
- 13) Open the Game Once and Close it
- 14) Run pbsetup.exe from Program Files\America's Army\System\PBsetup folder
- 15) You are all done.
Warning: With the addition of new features and controls, your user.ini is NOT compatible to move into the v2.7 system folder. You can save your user.ini from v2.6, but you will need to manually open the user.ini and copy over the binds.
This holds true for the ArmyOps.ini also...Do NOT copy it into the system folder.
